Intro

This document is intended to answer the following three questions

  1. What is VEE?
  2. How does my institution gain approval through the VEE program?
  3. How do my students attain VEE credit?

What is VEE?

In order to become an **Associate of the Society of Actuaries, students must complete a series of requirements, including Validation by Educational Experience or VEE.

Unlike other requirements, which ask that a student sit for an exam, or complete a project or seminar offered through the SOA(society of Actuaries), VEE requirements are fulfilled by the student completing approved classes at their institution.
