- Update course content based on new and emerging industry trends
- Ensure learning outcomes are aligned with the job skills currently in demand
- Address student and instructor feedback to improve student retention
- Increase optionality for students’ learning paths and partner institution program design

New course added: CYBER VIII - Cybersecurity Capstone
- This new course serves as the culmination of the program and is designed to assess all the program learning outcomes. In addition to working on a summative project, students will also spend part of the course preparing for a major certification like CompTIA Security+.
- Reasoning for change: As a course, Ethical Hacking introduced too many new topics to assess all the program learning outcomes adequately, so a new summative Capstone course was determined to be necessary.
New course added: CYBER II - Career Navigation and Exploration in Cybersecurity
- This new 200-level course will boost the outcomes and success of students by equipping them with the tools and skills needed to navigate the cybersecurity job market.
- Student feedback expresses a strong desire for structured exposure to job application best practices, interview practice, and mentorship and networking opportunities.
